A longtime resident of Texas, David T. Ball currently lives in Dallas. David T. Ball is always on the road, traveling for work, but he also enjoys traveling for fun and ensures he takes a non-work trip at least once a month. One of his favorite destinations is India, and he has toured the Taj Mahal.

Many travelers to India visit the breathtaking Taj Mahal, which receives between 7 and 8million tourists each year. The iconic temple is homage to the love between Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and his queen Mumtaz Mahal, who accompanied him everywhere, even into battle, and died tragically during childbirth. The emperor was so heartbroken that he spent 14 years building the temple to honor his true love.

The temple is opened from sunrise to sunset every day of the week but Friday. Many opt to visit the temple as the sun is rising or setting, as the colors are altered with the sunlight. Some elect to participate in a night tour, available five days each month, on the night of the full moon as well as two days before and two days after.
